Dr. Nevitt’s Philosophy

“Health and wellness means something different to each and every individual. I am here to help you identify your health goals, and work together to achieve them. I believe in a future of primary care medicine, where we shift the paradigm from reactive therapies to proactive health.

You are not defined by a condition or a diagnosis, you are a whole person who deserves to live your best life. Together, we form a team that gives you the best of both cutting-edge scientific research and natural therapies.”

What Makes Dr. Nevitt Different

During her undergraduate education at UC Berkeley, Dr. Nevitt realized her passion for combining modern research with foundational wellness, to empower individuals to live their healthiest lives. She went on to achieve her four-year Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University, California, with particular interest in IBS, IBD, autoimmunity, endocrinology and metabolic disease.

Having worked in several graduate and undergraduate research labs, she is always seeking to use novel diagnostics and therapeutics, diving deeply into each individual story to find the root cause(s) of disease. Recognizing that true health starts from within, Dr. Nevitt works with patients to achieve their individual health goals and live their best lives.

A San Diego native, Dr. Nevitt enjoys spending time outdoors, frequenting local farmer’s markets, and appreciating time with loved ones. She believes that community is an essential part of health, and is passionate about bringing people together.
