What Makes Dr. Bonart Different

Lily grew up just north of New York City in a progressive community that encouraged open mindedness, diversity and natural approaches to all areas of life. Having battled dermatological issues throughout her life, she has always been passionate about skincare and using a natural approach to treat her condition. After completing her Bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University, she continued to nurture her passion for holistic health and wellness and her personal experience with Acupuncture to pursue a career in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Dr. Bonart completed her Doctoral (DACM) and Masters (MSTOM) at Pacific College of Health and Sciences in San Diego which included 4800 hours of clinical and didactical hours in Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine and Western medicine. While in school Lily completed clinical internships at the Downtown Senior’s Clinic at First Lutheran Church, UCSD Owen’s Clinic treating patients suffering from HIV/AIDS and UCSD RIMAC working with student athletes using sports medicine acupuncture. Lily also apprenticed for Adrian Bean at Pacific Center of Health where she gained first-hand experience working with patients using Craniosacral Therapy and Neural and Visceral Manipulation. She has attended over a dozen Craniosacral and Neural Manipulation workshops led by Adrian and completed courses with The Upledger and Barral Institute’s where she will continue to train and develop her skills. Additionally, Lily apprenticed under Deb Davies a Licensed Acupuncturist and Doula who specializes in fertility, high risk
pregnancies and post-partum care.

Treatment Through Traditional Chinese Medicine

Dr. Bonart is passionate about treating patients based on their individual needs. She combines the use of Traditional Chinese Medicine modalities such as acupuncture, herbal therapies, fire cupping and moxibustion with lifestyle coaching and nutritional supplementation to support her patient’s in achieving optimal health-physically, mentally and spiritually.
